About the Artist
Sheri Farabaugh is a long time Colorado resident who now splits her time between Colorado and Arizona. She recently rediscovered her childhood interest in art after retiring from a career as a CPA. The Greenway Foundation found Sheri through their alliance with the Art Students League of Denver. Her paintings have won numerous awards and have been displayed at the West Valley Art Museum in Arizona, Foothills II Gallery in Golden, the China Art Institute in Hangzhou, China, the ASKU gallery in Westminster, and the Glendale Arts Council Exhibit where she won Best of Show in 2008. Sheri was recently named a recipient of the 2008 Artists of Promise Award from Maricopa County, AZ.
